02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 1 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)

# Direction Steps:

01 - Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the husked corn ears to the boiling water. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until the kernels are tender and bright yellow. 02 - Remove the corn from the pot or grill and pat dry if needed.
03 - Immediately spread butter over each ear while hot, and sprinkle with salt to taste. Serve warm.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Fresh corn needs almost nothing to taste incredible, just five minutes and your attention
  • Both methods work beautifully, so you can match your mood or weather
02 -
  • Don't shuck the corn until you are ready to cook, or those precious sugars start turning to starch
  • Grilling needs frequent turning, but those charred spots are where the magic happens
03 -
  • Plant-based butter works perfectly fine here if you need dairy-free
  • A little butter knife trick, run it under hot water first for easier spreading
